The song is definetly about drugs. But With much of The Beatles music there is a deeper veiled meaning referencing harmony and peace. The music needs to be taken in the context of the time it was written. The dead beatles didn't die of drug use. John Lennon was shot. George Harrison died of cancer.
Um.... Talked to Neil on the phone about something else. He was talking about Barack. He is referencing all of the soldiers that have died. Thanks for reading my crap....!
