Tax Cut= Socialism?

So....... Let me get this straight. Giving a tax cut to working folks that make less then 250,000 dollars a year is socialism..... Okay. Sign me up. Where do I get my bolshevik outfit! McCain is so out of touch he wants the majority of Americans to pay more taxes so he can buy an 8th house. Well, I'm still paying for my first one John so you can pay a little extra and finance this war you're so gung ho about!

im not voting for either one here - just so you know Erik but you do know that O is planning on lots of major tax increases - they all are - its the game of politics...aside from cash...there is a major conflict - for me - regarding the character and intent of the candidates (in particular with Obama). This guy scares the hell out of me - considering his background and intent. people should be careful of asking for "change" - they may just get what they are asking for and they may not like the hidden costs for voting change at this level....ok - back to work... this election just needs to end.

Andy,
Good to here from you! First off, I would say Obama, and I have been following him alot, has given no indication that he would raise taxes on anyone making under 250k. The right has been spinning very hard to paint him with the "more tax" label. As far as "background" I am not sure what you mean... He is not a muslim. Yes, he was born in this country. Yes he went to a church where the pastor says some stupid stuff. I am catholic. I don't agree with everything my church says. I imagine you disagree with some things your church says. He went to Harvard, was raised by his grandparents mostly, who were hardworking folks. He has a bright wife and two cute kids. Yes, he is Black. To me that is not an issue either way. For my part, I will be voting for him because he has demonstrated intellectual curiosity. He seems to think the way I like to see smart people think. He reminds me of colleagues and friends that I have a high regard for. He is not reactionary and tends to look for a compromise in his decision making. At this point people are not just voting for change. They would get that either way. I think they will be voting for Barack because of who he is. Thanks for posting dude keep em coming. WE can both agree it is time for this to be over.
