My stimulus check
Yeah, So I get this cash. This is what i'm doing. I am doing exactly the opposite of what our idiot president and those dumbassess in congress want me to do and I am sticking that sucker in our family savings account. Hah! It makes alot of sense to buy some useless crap made in another country. I'd be stimulating an economy alright..... China's! This is the perfect example of what happens when you let an intellectually uncurious d student be president. How about a massive roads initiative that would strengthen the infrastructure for transporting goods and services across our country???? How about developing a nationwide train system like in Europe to stimulate travel.. since the airline industry is going in the tank under the weight of it's own mismanagement and fuel costs. No. that's goverment spending... Pork barrel projects.... Makes no sense. Except it has been done. FDRwith the New Deal anyone??? 1950's massive economic expansion anyone???? No lets cut a bunch of checks so people can over extend themselves further and buy a bunch of t.v.'s made by 12 year olds in Xian, China.

yes, exactly! That's why I get so mad when people try to run it and us into the ground.
erick, i just got back from mexico,and every time i go there i count my blessings,makes me really sad that he place where i was born. is 20 times worst than here, and people always have a big smile on theyre facesn and the key is to learn how to live happy with what we have,not with what we can get, is really hard to understand, but thats the way i see things here in usa, life is good, tomorrow is not here yet
if your so pissed about the checks and the intent - send it my way. if you want to keep it - be thankful they sent them out - so you can earn interest.
The whole point in governing and creating sound policy is passing laws that make sense not pandering. Not ones that "feel good". So we all get some money and spend it on some stuff that we don't need and help companies that either provide no jobs for us or low paying retail ones instead of using it on building roads, infrastructure (higher paying jobs to domestic companies) or education which has the triple effect of lowering poverty (wwjd) lowering crime (side effect of lowering poverty) and getting people off of wellfare (Republicans should like this). Sound Policy is about vision, and planning for the future, not buying votes. Take the long view.
erik has got it, the future baby, i like jorge's ideas about bein happy but u need to look towards the future too, what is goin to happen if we are always just happy with what we have and not striving to get better...were screwed, need to be happy and make changes...the future baby
