I heard about this...ouch...He is old too. Early 30s as I recall. Unreal that he didn't break is "sh..". I am not sure what to say about a governing body watching and evaluating. I say that the participants own the responsibility.
Contrary to popular belief many of the most succsessful pro skaters, particularly the vert skaters, tend to be older. Tony Hawk dominated for years and was winning most contests well into his 30's. Getting to this level takes years and years of skating.
or you don't like to wear spandex, like superman minus the x-ray vision and the strength(well maybe they do have super human strength since all those rode weanies juice.) Lets face it no one in american likes the sport because all of us with A.D.D find it more boring than watching grass grow. Watching some one ride their bike makes baseball seem interesting.
wow! what an interesting debate that has been sparked on the blog. I love cycling for it's history and because it is alot of fun. I agree that it might not be cool but I love it. When I was a kid skateboarding wasn't that cool either.
That is the problem you are watching it... watching any of it is a problem. If you are doing it good for you, seriously! I was only kidding but if you are watching it, well, that is your problem.

skateboarding is alot cooler than riding a bike.
